We applaud the pre-planning efforts to include temporary pedestrian access routes (TPAR).  And, check out our Anchor Mast Type III Barricade in the picture.  Anchor Mast is the most feature-laden Type III Barricade in the market, and we’re delighted to see it in use at Auburn University.

This article does not pertain to pedestrian access in work zones per se.  But, it is indicative of the overall problem:  universal access is still an afterthought, if considered at all, in design and construction.
