From yesterday’s Las Cruces Sun-News:

Gabriel Garcia, an assistant project manager with the state Department of Transportation, is supervising the construction project at I-10 and Motel Boulevard. He said most motorists drive carefully on Motel, but said State Police have been stopping people on the highway for speeding.

“I don’t know what else we can do to slow them down,” said Garcia, who added that the concrete barriers, orange barrels and speed limits are meant to protect the traveling public as much as the construction workers.

Guess what?  We’re doing a RoadQuake demonstration for NM DOT at this very construction site in the very near future.

Stay tuned for details!
