This is yet another accident where a driver, probably distracted, slammed into a work zone queue. RoadQuake might have helped.
The article:
A chain-reaction crash involving five vehicles on a Manitoba highway sent two people to hospital Friday.
RCMP say it happened on Highway 10 north of Brandon at about 8:30 in the morning. An SUV slammed into a vehicle that was at the end of a line of vehicles stopped by a flag person at a marked construction site.
There was one person in each vehicle – two were taken to hospital with “undetermined” injuries and the others were treated at the scene.
The highway near PR 25 was expected to be closed for several hours while police investigated.
In a news release, RCMP say “with the summer construction season upon us, it is critical to slow down and drive with caution in construction zones for the safety of workers and other motorists.”
